This card was purchased in London, England, by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.  The postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this lovely old vintage De Reszke postcard is an art  portrait of a GORGEOUS Scottish Deerhound.  The dog is lightly embossed.    On the back is no handwriting.
However, there is the following manufacturer's information:
"
THE DEERHOUND:  The Scottish Deerhound is very closely related to the Irish Wolfhound.  It was originally bred for the purpose of Stag hunting.  In these days, however, they are not required.  It has a very dignified bearing and is very gentle and affectionate.  This is No. 22 of a series of 30 cards appearing in the larger packets of De Reszke Cigarettes and other Godfrey Phillips Associated brands."
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard. It was originally made in England circa 1935.  Aside from very few signs of wear as shown above,  this card  is still easy to see and appreciate!
