VINTAGE US CAVALRY/MILITARY BRASS AND STEEL HORSE BIT.
Great looking bit with just a slight amount of rust here and there. Shanks measure 8 1/2” in length, mouthpiece is 5” wide and marked “US”. Someone removed the rings at the mouthpiece for whatever reason, but the bit is otherwise all original with no bends, breaks, or repairs.
Makes a great addition to a collection or could definitely be used for re-enactment purposes. A bit like this with rings intact sold for over 0 recently, so this one is a real deal.
